Hsu Chen-Fu, a graduate from the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University and a recent master's graduate in Geography, is a dedicated explorer of the intricate connections between wildlife, natural environments, and human cultures. His research has taken him to some of the most remote areas of the world, including Tibet and the Arctic regions of Siberia, enriching his narratives with authentic insights. His debut novel, Taming the Blue Sheep, which focuses on the vanishing landscapes and cultures of Tibet, garnered multiple awards including the prestigious Taiwan Literature Awards, highlighting his talent for blending factual depth with narrative finesse. His work not only captivates with its storytelling but also inspires a deeper appreciation for the complex interdependencies that shape our world.
