Dominik Bárt: The other one in me

Dominik Bárt was born in 1998 in Ostrava, he lives in Brno. He graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Czech Studies and continues his studies in intermedial studies. He oversees the Mlat edition, which publishes debuts of young poets. With Filip Klega he organizes the platform of young poets’ author readings Omlatina. He is part of the intermedial poetry projects Diskotéka avantgard and Divné siluety. He translates young Polish poets. He has recently published a collection of poems which combines Czech and Polish, Díky dvěma jazykům se neztratíme v překladu / Dzięki dwóm językom nie zgubimy się w tłumaczeniu (Thanks to the Two Languages We Won’t Get Lost in Translation), and his revised debut Spodoby (Assimilations, 1st ed. 2021).
