TIU is a Greenlandic band that ranks among the most compelling projects on the contemporary local scene thanks to its ability to merge intimate poetry with modern indie pop. The core of the group consists of singer Pernille Kreutzmann, guitarist Ivik Kreutzmann Larsen, and supporting musician Simon Bekker. Their music is characterised by a delicate acoustic sound and emotionally charged lyrics in Greenlandic. They made their debut with the album Nuunneq (Moving, 2017), followed by Qalipaatit inugaannut (Where Colours Cannot Reach, 2022).
