Milan Urza: In fair weather

Born in 1983 in Jičín. His real name is Milan Kudyn. He studied art history at Palacký University in Olomouc. A poet and prose writer, since 1998 also a lyricist, guitarist, and singer of the alternative band První hoře, with which he has produced two demos and seven albums. He has published the following books: Dům bez oken (A House Without Windows, 2019), Jeremiášův vztek (Jeremiah’s Anger, 2014), Slepá planeta (Blind Planet, 2011), Pukliny (Cracks, 2008), Uprostřed noci (In the Middle of the Night, 2003). “I think about texts during long trips, on foot or by bike; that’s why I have written all my texts only in fair weather, from spring to autumn,” he said in an interview for the website Crazy Diamond.
