Camilla Bøksle: To Grandpa with love

She was born in 1971 and worked as a teacher in Norway and England. She wrote a children's book (2019) and two novels (2019, 2020). The first of one, Det er vakrest når det skumrer (It's the Most Beautiful when the Dusk Falls), is a portrait of a dying old man as well as a celebration of her authentic grandfather, a multi-generational family, and an expression of love for the city of Kristiansand. Camilla's grandfather was an art lover and an artist, but also a domineering and self-centered man and a poseur. Nevertheless, the reader gradually comes to love him.
