Diana Anfimiadi (Anthimiadou) was born in 1982. She is a poet, publicist, linguist and translator. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Linguistic Institute of Tbilisi State University. Anfimiadi is the author of a number of scholarly articles and publications and a recipient of the Ilia Chavchavadze scholarship for young researchers. Furthermore, she is one of the editors of the electronic library lib.ge. She has published four collections of poetry and one of prose; her work has been nominated for several prestigious awards and received the two top literary prizes in the country. Her poetry also appeared in many Georgian anthologies. Anfimiadi has a poetic radar of exceptionally high sensitivity, her poems are humane and rich with feelings and simple sentiments. Lately she has been experimenting with culinary in writing, joining the two arts in prosaic works such as Personal Culinary and Predicting with Jam.
