Měsíc autorského čtení letos hostil spisovatele a spisovatelky z Francie. Čestným hostem příštího ročníku se na základě přání našeho milého publika stalo Polsko.
Z mnoha důvodů (např. díky nebývalé návštěvnosti) patří letošní festivalový ročník k dosud nejúspěšnějším. Děkujeme Vám všem.

Pavel Kohout do Brna bohužel nedorazí, místo něj zazní rozhlasový pořad Bratranci Kunderové vlastními ústy u mikrofonu.
Jean Roudaud, který měl v Brně číst 7. července a v Ostravě 8. července bohužel také nepřijede.
Francouzská spisovatelka Muriel Barbery, která měla číst na festivalu Měsíc autorského čtení v Brně (6. 7.) a Ostravě (7. 7.) bohužel nepřijede. Po oba dva dny ale proběhne čtení v zastoupení doplněné o přednášku Petra Christova.
S lítostí oznamujeme všem, kdo se chystali na zítřejší brněnské a pondělní ostravské čtení Antoina Volodina, že tento autor do České republiky bohužel nepřijede.
Měsíc autorského čtení letos opět doprovází výstavy. V Brně své snímky spisovatelů představují Jaroslava Šnajberková a její francouzský kolega Jean-Claude Couval. V Ostravě vystavuje fotoskupina K4 svůj projekt Kopalnia sztuki pogranicza.
